Stilnovo Gravitino 541 Table Lamp – Antonio Macchi Cassia (1969) | Italian Designer Lamp
The Gravitino 541 table lamp by Stilnovo, designed by Italian designer Antonio Macchi Cassia in 1969, is an iconic lighting piece that combines innovative technology with minimalist design.
The design consists of two geometric metal spheres connected by an ingenious magnetic system. This allows the upper sphere, which houses the integrated LED light source, to move freely and rotate 360°. The light can therefore be easily directed in any desired direction.
The recessed light source reduces glare and provides pleasant, focused illumination. Thanks to its compact size, the Stilnovo Gravitino table lamp is ideal as a desk lamp, reading light or atmospheric accent lighting on a cabinet or side table.
With its glossy lacquered finish and playful spherical shape, the Gravitino 541 is a beautiful example of 1960s Italian design. A timeless design classic that combines functionality with a sculptural appearance, fitting perfectly into modern, minimalist and vintage interiors.
