Le Corbusier – Parliament
Le Corbusier originally designed this lamp for the Parliament of Chandigarh in India, as part of the lighting for this modern architectural complex. The design embodies the modernism of the 1950s, with a clear reference to the industrial lighting of that era.
The colour combinations are inspired by Le Corbusier’s own “claviers de couleurs” system — a colour palette he personally developed. You can find combinations such as black/red, black/yellow, white/grey or green/yellow.
